What We Believe
We are a Bible-based Church, believing in one God, the creator of Heaven and earth. (Genesis 1:1). God is three-in-one: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 44:6-8; 45:5; 1 Corinthians 8:4).
We believe that God loves the world so much that He sent his only Son to die in our place, so that we might have eternal life with Him (John 3:16).
After Jesus came back to life and returned to His Father in Heaven we believe He sent the Holy Spirit to be our friend and guide until Jesus returns again, when there will be a new Heaven and a new earth. It is through the Holy Spirit that we are ‘born again’ into the Kingdom of Heaven.
God is eternal and unchangeable; the same yesterday, today and forever (Psalm 102:24-27; Habakkuk 1:12; Revelation 1:18). He is holy (Isaiah 57:15; 1 Peter 1:15, 16), righteous and just, yet merciful and gracious (Psalm 103:8; 116:5; 147:17; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:4, 8; 1 John 1:9).
We believe the Bible is ‘God-breathed’; inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21). We use the Bible to learn more about God’s character and how He wants us to live out our lives on earth (Matthew 16:17; 1 Corinthians 2:14)
We believe prayer is the way to communicate with God (Matthew 7:7-11; Luke 11:13) and that He loves to have a relationship with us. God is with us wherever we go and we trust in His unfailing love and the knowledge that through Him all things are possible.
